ITINERARY

Day 1: Office/Hotel – Forest Trek – Safari Jungle Camp (L/D)
Approx. 5–6 hours walking
Depart from your hotel or our office and stop at the lively morning market to experience local life and select fresh ingredients.
Begin trekking through rice fields and village paths in the Nam Ha Valley before entering secondary forest and dense jungle. Walk along wildlife trails as your guide introduces medicinal plants and forest life.
Arrive at the Safari Jungle Camp in the late afternoon and learn basic jungle skills such as fire making and bamboo cooking.
Enjoy a freshly prepared jungle dinner and overnight either in a survival camp shelter or a simple jungle hut.
Day 2: Safari Jungle Camp – Deep Jungle – Khmu Homestay (B/L/D)
Approx. 6–7 hours walking
After breakfast, trek uphill into the heart of the Nam Ha jungle, following remote wildlife trails. Visit a natural salt lick, where wild animals often come to feed. Continue descending to the refreshing Nam Ha Waterfall, where you can relax and freshen up your face and body.
Walk onward to the Nam Ha River, cross to local farmland, and follow the scenic Nam Ha Valley with beautiful views along the way. Arrive at a Khmu village around noon, settle into your homestay, enjoy village life, and later join a hands-on Khmu cooking experience. Share dinner with villagers and enjoy a traditional children’s performance, Overnight at the Local homestay.
Day 3: Khmu Village – Nam Ha Valley – Lanten Tribe – Return to City (B/L)
Approx. 4–5 hours walking
After breakfast with your host family, trek through the scenic Nam Ha Valley, passing rice fields, streams, and forest trails. Visit Khmu and Lanten villages to learn about local traditions, daily life, and seasonal handicrafts such as indigo textile weaving and bamboo paper making.
Along the way, discover useful forest plants and traditional farming practices before enjoying a local lunch in the village. In the afternoon, hike to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Nam Ha National Protected Area, then descend to a Lanten village where a Tuk-Tuk will transfer you back to Luang Namtha.
