ITINERARY

– Duration: 4-5 hours
– Departure: 9:00am
– Return: 2-3pm at Green Trail Laos office

Day 1 – Nam Ha Jungle Trek & Khmu Homestay (L/D)
Approx: 5–6 hours trekking

Start at 9:00 AM with a Tuk-Tuk ride to the local morning market to select fresh ingredients for your jungle lunch. Continue to Nam Ha National Protected Area and trek through dense rainforest, hills, valleys, and ancient trees while learning about medicinal plants and traditional forest knowledge.

Enjoy an authentic Lao-style jungle picnic cooked in bamboo, then continue through streams, cultivated forest, rattan, cardamom, and banana plantations. Reach a scenic ridge overlooking Nalan Khmu Village, where you will spend the night and experience traditional village hospitality.

Day 2 – Nam Ha River Kayaking & Ethnic Villages (B/L)
Approx. 4–5 hours Kayaking

After breakfast, receive a safety briefing before kayaking down the beautiful Nam Ha River through lush jungle scenery and gentle rapids. Along the way, observe local fishing and visit Nalan Tai Khmu Village for a traditional Lao picnic lunch.

Continue downstream through dramatic mountain landscapes to a Lanten village, where you can learn about traditional natural dyeing and bamboo paper making. Paddle onward to Houy Leuat Village, marking the end of your memorable Nam Ha trekking and kayaking adventure.
