2 days Survival Camping Experience in the Jungle

ITINERARY

    – Duration: 5-6 hours
    – Departure: 9:00am
    Return: 3-4pm at Green Trail Laos office

Day 1: Deep Jungle Trek – Safari Camp Experience (L/D)
Approx. 6–7 hours trekking

Meet your guide at our office in the morning and visit the local morning market to buy ingredients for jungle cooking. Drive about 40 minutes to Ban Tha Se, meet your local assistant guide, and begin trekking.
Walk along the scenic Nam Ha Valley, passing village farms and plantations where you can observe local farmers at work. The trail then leads deeper into Nam Ha National Protected Area, where your guide shares basic jungle survival skills, including edible plants, animal tracks, and traditional forest knowledge.
In the late afternoon, arrive at the riverside Safari Camp by the Nam Ha River. Help prepare a jungle-style dinner over an open fire and enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by forest sounds.
Overnight options:
– Traditional bamboo hut
– Build your own jungle shelter for a true survival experiencer

Day 2: Safari Camp – Deep jungle – Luang Namtha (B/L)
Approx. 5–6 hours trekking

Wake to forest bird sound and enjoy breakfast by the river. Trek downhill along the Nam Ha Valley, following small jungle trails through dense forest and bamboo groves before emerging onto farmland.
Visit a Khmu village to learn about local life, traditional farming, and forest knowledge. You may also visit the village school and support local education with small donations if you wish.
Continue uphill to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the valley, then trek back through lush jungle. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest before descending to the road for transfer back to Luang Namtha, concluding an authentic jungle and cultural experience.
