TOUR DETAILS

Day 1: Pakse – Bolaven Plateau – Waterfalls Trek (L/D)
Approx: 5-6 hours walk

Depart from Pakse and travel into the cool highlands of the Bolaven Plateau, passing coffee and tea plantations along the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Visit Ban Hue Jiet, home to the Ngae ethnic group, before beginning a scenic trek through plantations, forests, and the impressive Dan Sinxai limestone formations. Reach the beautiful Champi Waterfall, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch and a refreshing swim.

Continue trekking to the spectacular Tad Fane Waterfall, plunging over 220 meters into a deep gorge, followed by a visit to the scenic Tad Yuang Waterfall. Arrive at Ban Nong Luang in the late afternoon, where you will experience local village life, enjoy a traditional dinner, and take part in a welcoming Baci ceremony. Overnight at a local homestay.

Day 2: Ban Nong Luang – Tad Chet Chanh – Pakse (B/L)
Approx: 5-6 hours walk

After breakfast, begin trekking through forest and limestone landscapes toward Dan Noy and Dan Ngai, enjoying panoramic views over Dong Hua Sao National Protected Area. Along the way, discover a rare ancient Rosewood tree, wild orchids, and medicinal plants used by local communities.

Visit the beautiful Tad Chet Chanh Waterfall, a multi-tiered cascade hidden within the forest, and continue past Tad Suea Waterfall while learning about the region’s rich biodiversity. After lunch, return via a different trail and transfer back to Pakse, concluding your Bolaven Plateau trekking adventure.
