TOUR HIGHTLIGHTS
Day 1: Luang Namtha – Muang Sing – Muang Long (Approx. 150 km)
Start from Luang Namtha after a briefing and bike check. Ride through scenic countryside toward Muang Sing, mixing paved roads with light off-road sections and passing Akha, Khmu, Lanten, and Hmong villages. Enjoy views of rice fields, bamboo forest, and traditional homes.
From Muang Sing, continue mostly off-road into remote valleys and farmland, stopping to meet Tai Lue and Akha villagers. Arrive in Muang Long by late afternoon and overnight at a local guesthouse.
Day 2: Muang Long – Vieng Phoukha (Approx. 90 km)
After breakfast, tackle a full day of 100% off-road riding through jungle trails, mountain ridges, and wild highland scenery. Visit remote Akha and Khmu villages and enjoy panoramic views along the way. Picnic lunch in nature. Arrive in Vieng Phoukha in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 3: Vieng Phoukha – Nalae – Luang Namtha (Approx. 160 km)
Ride off-road through scenic highlands toward Nalae, stopping at viewpoints and visiting Khmu and Lao Huea villages. After a final day of adventure and cultural encounters, return to Luang Namtha, ending your off-road biking journey.
