This full-day tour offers an immersive experience into the traditions and lifestyles of the ethnic minority groups in Luang Namtha. Starting with a museum visit, we gain deep insight into local cultures before heading to a picturesque waterfall and a Lantan village, known for its bamboo paper-making and natural silk dyeing. After lunch, we visit Tai Dam, Tai Lue, and Akha villages to observe traditional handicrafts and local alcohol distillation. The tour concludes with a visit to a sacred stupa, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape before returning to town.

Day 1: In the Morning
   Meet at the Green Trail Laos office at 9:00 am. Our journey begins with a visit to the local museum, providing fascinating insights into the history and customs of the region’s minority tribes. From there, we drive to a scenic waterfall, perfect for capturing stunning photos and enjoying the natural beauty. Next, we explore a Lantan minority village, where you will witness traditional bamboo paper-making and the natural dyeing of silk fabrics, both integral to Lantan culture.
    Midday: Before continuing our exploration, we pause for a delicious Lao lunch at an authentic local restaurant.
    Afternoon: After lunch, we visit the Tai Dam, Tai Lue, and Akha villages, where you’ll observe the intricate processes of silk production, natural dyeing, and handicraft-making. We also explore a local alcohol distillery, learning about the traditional techniques used in making rice wine. Our next stop is a majestic Stupa, offering panoramic views of Luang Namtha. If time permits and the group is interested, we can also visit another stupa and a Buddhist monastery for further cultural exploration.
At 15:00 pm, we return to the Hotel, concluding a memorable day of cultural discovery.
