    A 2-day kayaking adventure along the Namha River through the pristine Nam Ha National Park. Paddle through lush jungle, spot wildlife, and experience the rich cultural heritage of northern Laos by visiting remote ethnic villages.

    Day 1: Into the NamHa Wilderness

    Morning

    • Meet at Discovering Laos office at 9:00 amfor a briefing.
    • A tuk-tuk ridetakes us to ThaSae village, our launch point.
    • Receive basic kayaking and safety instructionsbefore setting off.
    • Paddle through lush jungle scenery, with the current leading us deeper into the rainforest.

    Midday

    • Conquer a series of rapids, adding excitement to the journey.
    • Stop at a scenic riverbankfor a picnic lunch.
    • Take time to relax or swimwhile our guides prepare a fresh Lao meal.

    Afternoon

    • Continue downstream, navigating more exciting rapids.
    • Visit a Khmu village, meet the locals, and learn about their traditional way of life.
    • Arrive at Nalan village (Khmu)around 3:00 pm, our home for the night.

    Evening

    • Explore the village and enjoy the peaceful river surroundings.
    • Take a refreshing swim, chat with locals, or simply relax.
    • At 7:00 pm, savor a delicious Lao-style dinnerat the homestay.
    • Spend the evening socializing or enjoying the serene atmosphere.

    Day 2: Rapids & Culture Along the NamHa River

    Morning

    • Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy a warm Lao breakfast.
    • Depart at 10:00 am, paddling into another stretch of exciting rapids.
    • Stop by two minority villages:
    • Ban Nalan Tai (Khmu tribe)
    • Nam Boy (Lantan tribe)

    Midday

    • More thrilling rapids before reaching a picturesque jungle clearing.
    • Enjoy a leisurely riverside picnic, with time for relaxation or a playful water fight!

    Afternoon

    • Continue downstream, alternating between adventurous rapidsand calm stretches.
    • Immerse in the sounds of the rainforest, spotting birds and wildlife.
    • Arrive at Houay Leuat village (3:00 pm), our final stop.
    • Change into dry clothesbefore the tuk-tuk ride back to Discovering Laos office.
