Day 1: Into the Heart of Nam Ha National Park (L/D)
Approx: 5-6 hours walking

Start from Luang Namtha with a visit to the local morning market to purchase fresh ingredients for the trek. Then drive about 40 minutes to Ban Tha Sae, the starting point of your adventure. Walk through beautiful rice fields and along the scenic Nam Ha Valley before entering the dense rainforest of Nam Ha National Protected Area. Along the way, learn about jungle survival skills, edible plants, and medicinal herbs from your guide.

After a picnic lunch in the forest, continue trekking deeper into the wilderness toward the Nam Ha River. By late afternoon, arrive at your riverside campsite, where you can relax in a jungle hut or build your own banana-leaf shelter for a true wilderness experience. At the camp, enjoy traditional local-style fishing and take a short nature walk to look for wildlife. End the day with a delicious jungle-style dinner around the campfire, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.

Day 2: Wildlife Exploration & Village Stay (B/L/D)
Approx: 6-7 hours walking

Start your morning with a trek to a hidden wildlife salt lick, a vital natural spot where animals gather to drink and absorb minerals. With a bit of luck, you may witness signs of early-morning animal activity.
Continue descending through the forest until you reach a stunning national park waterfall. Enjoy your lunch here while soaking in the refreshing atmosphere.
After lunch, trek toward Nalan Village, passing local farms and scenic valleys. Walk along the Nam Ha valley trail before arriving at a welcoming Khmu village just before sunset.
Experience genuine village life as you join local families in preparing dinner, learning about their culture, traditions, and daily routines.

Day 3: River Trails & Village Life (B/L/D)
Approx: 5-6 hours walking

After breakfast and hot tea, continue trekking along the beautiful Nam Ha River trail. Your guide will take you to another wildlife hotspot, where you can observe colorful birds and other jungle creatures.
Lunch is a highlight, experience traditional jungle cooking, where your guide prepares food using bamboo, wild herbs, and techniques passed down through generations.
In the afternoon, walk through organic farmland before reaching a second Khmu village. Meet local families, explore their lifestyle, and enjoy a relaxing sunset over the valley. Spend the evening immersed in village life and shared stories.

Day 4: Kayaking Adventure & Handicraft Village Visit (B/L)
Approx: 4-5 hours walking

Start your day with breakfast and prepare for an exciting change of pace to kayaking down the Nam Ha River. Paddle through pristine jungle scenery, gentle currents, and untouched forest landscapes.
Along the way, stop at a Lantan handicraft village known for its traditional weaving techniques. Here you can purchase authentic, handmade souvenirs directly from local artisans.
Continue kayaking deeper into the jungle, exploring wildlife-rich riverbanks where animals come to drink. Navigate a few fun rapids before concluding your river adventure around 2–3 PM.
A Tuk-Tuk/Minivan will meet you at the finish point and bring you back to the office—marking the end of your unforgettable multi-day Nam Ha experience.
