Day 1: Into the Heart of Nam Ha National Park (L/D)
Approx: 5-6 hours walking

Your journey begins with a trek deep into the pristine wilderness of Nam Ha National Park. Follow your guide through lush jungle trails until you reach a towering ancient tree, one of the forest’s sacred giants. Here, your guide will share jungle survival tips, from building shelters to identifying useful plants.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch beneath the shade of the massive canopy before continuing downhill toward the Nam Ha River. Along the way, you’ll learn about edible herbs, traditional medicinal plants, and the secrets of the jungle ecosystem.
By late afternoon, arrive at your riverside campsite, where you can choose your overnight adventure:
Option 1: Rest in a cozy jungle cabin.
Option 2: Build your own banana-leaf shelter for a true back-to-nature survival experience.

Day 2: Wildlife Exploration & Cultural Village Stay (B/L/D)
Approx: 5-6 hours walking

Begin the day with a trek to a natural wildlife salt lick, a hidden spot where animals gather for essential minerals and early-morning activity. Continue your journey to a beautiful national park waterfall, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing jungle lunch.
Afterward, the trail leads through farmland and valleys toward Nalan Village. Walk along the Nam Ha valley trail and gentle dirt roads, arriving at a welcoming Khmu village just in time for sunset.
Experience true local hospitality as families invite you to join them in preparing dinner. Spend the evening learning about Khmu traditions, culture, and daily life.

Day 3: River Trails & Deeper Village Life (B/L/D)
Approx: 6-7 hours walking

Start your morning with breakfast and tea in the village before heading back onto the Nam Ha River trail. Along the way, stop at wildlife areas where you can spot birds, insects, and other jungle creatures.
Your guide will introduce you to traditional jungle cooking, preparing lunch with bamboo, natural herbs, and seasonal ingredients using techniques handed down through generations.
In the afternoon, walk through organic farmlands to reach a second Khmu village. Meet local families, observe their day-to-day activities, and enjoy a peaceful sunset over the valley. Dinner is prepared together with the villagers, offering another deep cultural immersion.

Day 4: Lantan Handicraft Village & Final Jungle Moments (B/L)
Approx: 4-5 houes walking

After breakfast, trek to a nearby Lantan handicraft village famous for its traditional weaving and handmade textiles. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase truly authentic, handwoven souvenirs directly from the artisans.
Next, venture deeper into untouched jungle areas where wildlife often comes to drink from hidden streams. The trail leads to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the vast expanse of Nam Ha National Park—an unforgettable final highlight of your trek.
Your journey ends around 2–3 PM, where transportation will be waiting to bring you back to the Green Trail Laos office.
