You’ll explore the capital, Vientiane, the scenic town of Vang Vieng, and the historic city of Luang Prabang.     Day 01: Getting to Know Vientiane Capital (L/D)

    Arrive in Vientiane, where you’ll be transferred from the airport to your hotel. After check-in, begin your exploration of the city by visiting its iconic temples: Wat Sisaket, a 19th-century temple known for its cloister wall housing thousands of Buddha images, Wat That Luang, the most important religious monument in Laos, and Pho PraKeo, once the royal temple that housed the Emerald Buddha. Finally, visit Pratuxai, the city gate resembling the Arc de Triomphe, offering a panoramic view of the capital.

    Day 02: Heading to Vang Vieng (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, depart for Vang Vieng via Route 10, with a scenic drive through the countryside. Stop at the Ban Tha Heua fish market, where you can see a variety of fish indigenous to Laos. Continue to an organic farm just outside of Vang Vieng. Depending on the weather, take a boat ride on the Nam Song River or drive into town. Visit Tham Chang Cave, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding valley. In the evening, check-in to your hotel near the river.

    Optional: Explore more of Vang Vieng’s landscape with a guided bike tour along the Nam Song River.

    Day 03: Vang Vieng – Bike Ride to Blue Lagoon Cave & Mountain View (B/L/D)

    Today, enjoy an active day exploring Vang Vieng by bike. Ride to the Blue Lagoon Cave, where you can take a refreshing dip in the clear waters. Continue on to enjoy breathtaking mountain views and see other beautiful natural formations. After a day full of adventure, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

    Day 04: Onward Travel to Luang Prabang (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, drive toward Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, stop at Pathang for an incredible photo opportunity with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Continue on the winding roads, passing through jungles and limestone karst formations. Have lunch at Kiewkacham, a local restaurant in Phoukhoune, known for its lively market atmosphere. Afterward, pass through traditional Hmong and Kamu villages.

    Arrive in Luang Prabang, once the royal capital, and check-in to your hotel. This city is known for its Buddhist temples and monasteries. Visit Wat Phou Si, perched on a hill, offering a panoramic view of the city and its surrounding rivers.

    Day 05: Slow Boat to Old Cave & Visit Village (B/L)

    Take a slow boat along the Mekong River to explore a hidden old cave and visit a local village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to observe traditional blacksmith techniques used by the villagers. This immersive experience will give you insight into local life. After the boat ride and village visit, return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon, around 2-3 PM, where your trip will conclude.
