Day 1: Exploring Don Khone & Surroundings

• Depart from Pakse and travel to a local village.
• Board a boat and pass by Don Det on the way to Don Khone Island.
• Cycle around Don Khone to visit the old French bridge and river embankment.
• Observe local fishermen and learn about the significance of fishing in Lao culture.
• Visit Somphamit Waterfall and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• Take a boat trip through the rainforest to see the Irrawaddy dolphin statue.
• Continue by boat to a small border town.
• Transfer by van to the impressive Khonephapheng Waterfall.
• Return to Pakse or request a drop-off at the Lao/Cambodian border.
